Basil Lemonade Slushie

Ingredients

  • 2 cups basil firmly packed
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 can thawed lemonade concentrate
  • 1 quart water

Instructions

  1. Add 1 quart of water and basil to a pot, Bring to a boil
  2. Boil for 8 minutes or until basil turns dark
  3. Add sugar and stir until dissolved, about 2 minutes
  4. Remove from heat and add lemonade concentrate and stir to combine
  5. Let stand 30 minutes
  6. Strain through a mesh strainer
  7. Place liquid into 1 gallon plastic bag and freeze overnight
  8. Once frozen, take out of freezer and allow to thaw for 20 minutes
  9. Scoop slush into glass an enjoy
