ABOUT ME…
I have a passion for creating beautiful things. I can remember tearing out pictures from magazines at a very young age and arranging them into beautiful collages. I started the blog to fill a void in my life. Becoming a mother was a life changing experience but there was still something missing. Between diaper changes and late night feedings, I had lost all sense of who I used to be. Starting the blog brought back the creative spark that I once had. I rebranded from Here Comes the Sun to Kelly Leigh Creates in February 2019.
I currently live in Wilmington, NC. I love the beach, lemonade, and all things chocolate. To say I am living the dream is an understatement. I grew up in Ohio, went to school in Indiana and landed in Baltimore for my first job. The pace of life and the weather there proved to be a bit too much for us so we packed up and moved to this wonderful city that we now call home.
