Pineapple sorbet is the most delicious, mouthwatering treat on a hot summer day. You can make your own right at home with only 3 ingredients.
My main objective during the summer months is too keep cool. Because if mom and happy, ain’t nobody happy, right? You can usually find me at the beach or at the pool but if that’s not happening, I’m usually on my porch sipping on some lemonade or enjoying a tasty popsicle. I also love me some sorbet. It’s fruit goodness in a bowl, my friends and you can make your own at home.
PINEAPPLE SORBET RECIPE
3 Ingredient Pineapple Sorbet
- 1 quart of fresh pineapple chunks
- 5 TBS sugar
- 3/4 cup water
I use fresh pineapple (not canned) I buy the pre-cut pineapple spears and cut them into chunks.
Place the pineapple into a freezer bag and freeze for 2 hours
Place the frozen pineapple chunks into a food processor with the sugar and pulse until the pineapple is broken up
Add water and grind until it is a puree
Place pineapple mixture into a freezer safe container and freeze
When you take the pineapple sorbet out of the freezer, leave it on the counter for a bit to let it soften up. Then scoop it into bowls or a cone and enjoy!
