We are big sports fans in our house! We love when we can sit down as a family and cheer on our favorite team. March is an especially exciting time for college basketball! When you’re enjoying the games, finger foods are a must. Crackers and dip are a great finger food option and I’ve created an amazing Bacon Ranch Dip that goes well with the new Cheez-It crackers. I’ve also got a fun and festive way to display your food on gameday.
First, the Bacon Ranch Dip recipe.
Bacon Ranch Dip
Ingredients
- 16 oz. sour cream
- 1 package ranch dip seasoning
- 3-4 pieces of bacon cooked
- shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
-
Stir together seasoning and sour cream
-
garnish with bacon crumbles and shredded cheddar cheese
Easy and delicious! So easy that you can whip up more very quickly when your guests gobble it up. And believe me, they will because bacon makes everything better. Now for the festive display. To create the basketball cups you will need orange paper cups, black sharpie and scissors. Don’t forget the Cheez-It Crunch’d and Cheez-It Grooves. I picked everything up at Wal-Mart.
First, Sketch this shape onto the cup and cut out.
Then use the cup as a template for all the other cups. Use the black Sharpie to draw a basketball detail onto the cups.
Fill the cups with the Cheez-It Grooves and Cheez-It Crunch’d and then you can slam dunk them into the delicious Bacon Ranch Dip. I’m usually pretty picky about the snacks that I feed my family. I love that Cheez-It uses 100% real cheese and bakes it into every cracker.
So how are you showing your team spirit this season? Get into the game by entering the Most Valuable Cheese Contest. Vote for your favorite flavors/varieties from six popular Cheez-It flavors and play games for a chance to win $10,000.
