Family Wall Art

I am always looking for items to decorate with that can be interchangeable throughout the seasons. The shelf over our tv currently houses two empty hurricane glasses (made from items from the dollar store!). These will be filled at a later date. My dilemma was what to do with the blank wall space. Here is what I came up with:

FAMILY WALL ART

Here is what you will need:

1. Picture frame (any size you want)
2. Scrapbook paper
3. Vinyl wall art (I found mine at the dollar store)
4. Scissors
5. Ruler
6. Pencil
7. Tape

Step 1:
Disassemble the picture frame and clean the glass with Windex.

Step 2:
Adhere the vinyl wall art to the front of the glass. Mine wasn’t actual vinyl. It was a removable sticker that I found at the dollar store. They have a lot of cute sayings for way cheaper than anywhere else.

Step 3:
Cut your scrapbook paper to fit inside your picture frame. I chose a piece of plain paper rather than a pattern. If you want to use a patterned paper, make sure that the pattern will line up correctly if you have to use more than one sheet of paper. Choose a color that you love. Right now, I am very in love with the color aqua. It reminds me of the beach. Something else I love.
I have no idea why this photo won’t upload the correct way. Oh, well… you get the idea though.

Step 4:
Re-assemble your picture frame with the scrapbook paper placed behind the glass.
Step 5:
Hang (or lean) against the wall and enjoy.

That’s it! Super easy.

With the vinyl adhered to the glass, you can easily swap out the scrapbook paper to coordinate with any decorating scheme. Think red for Christmas, golden hues for fall, etc.
