Hand Lettered Constellation Print – Aquarius

This hand lettered constellation print is the perfect addition to a nursery or space themed room.

There is something mesmerizing about looking up into space at all the millions and millions of stars and realizing that we are just a small speck in the galaxy.  The night sky has always fascinated me and my kids have now acquired a love for it as well.  They have a telescope and are constantly going outside to look at the stars and planets and are super excited whenever the sky is clear enough to see some meteors.  My son goes back and forth between wanting to design video games and wanting to work  for NASA and build rockets. I think his end goal is to be one of those people that goes to Mars and never comes back. Lately there have been some pretty incredible moons. I can’t keep them all straight… the super moon, the blood moon, the super blue blood moon (is that even one of them… I don’t know. But it got me thinking about how I love the look of “galaxy” prints and constellation maps so I decided to create a hand lettered constellation print of the zodiac sign Aquarius.

I created the print on my iPad Pro.  It’s my new favorite tool for hand lettering. It lets me churn out amazing prints in no time flat and it’s great for practicing hand lettering.  If you’re interested in creating a print like this but can’t splurge for the iPad Pro, you can also recreate this look with some watercolors .

This constellation print would look great in a space-themed nursery, especially for any baby born under the zodiac sign of Aquarius. Is it just me or does anyone else get the “Age of Aquarius” song stuck in their head everytime they say aquarius?
