Peanut Butter Blossom Cookies are by far my favorite cookies ever. I am a sucker for the peanut butter and chocolate combo and I make these cookies almost every Christmas season.
Since this season is so hectic, I like to keep things easy by using a premade peanut butter cookie mix instead of making the dough from scratch. But if you are the super gung-ho type, by all means get out that PB jar and make it REALLY homemade.
Ingredients:
Premade peanut butter cookie mix
1 egg
3 tbs. vegetable oil
1 tbs. water
Hershey kisses
2 tbs sugar
Mix everything together except sugar and Hershey kisses until a dough forms. Roll into 1 inch balls and roll each ball in sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes.
After baking, immediately place one Hershey kiss in the middle of each cookie.
After placing the Hershey kisses, I like to put the cookie sheets in the fridge for a bit so the chocolate doesn’t melt.
Make sure to add this recipe to your Christmas Menu Planner.
