This pumpkin spice sugar scrub is perfect Fall! Use this scrub to pamper yourself or give it as a hostess gift. The holidays are coming up soon and this is also a perfect Christmas gift idea. Think neighbor gift, teacher gift or even a stocking stuffer!
Sugar scrubs are very easy and cheap to make. To make pumpkin spice sugar scrub, you will need coconut oil, brown sugar and pumpkin pie spice. The ratio of coconut oil to sugar is 2:1. I used 1 cup coconut oil and 1/2 cup brown sugar. Place coconut oil into a blender and blend until smooth. Add the brown sugar and 1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice and blend together. If you want the scrub a bit coarser, add more brown sugar until you get the consistency that you would like. You can also use white sugar in place of brown sugar. When using white granulated sugar, the scrub will be smoother and less grtity. Both versions of the scrub work wonderfully; it just depends on how much exfoliation you want.
Transfer the scrub to a jar and add a pretty tag. I love giving scrubs as gifts because who doesn’t like to get pampered? You can create an entire set of sugar scrubs in different aromas for really cheap! Think hostess gifts, mom-to-be gifts, new mom gifts. These would also be great in goody bags if you were throwing a spa-themed party. I’ve got more planned for Christmas gifts so be sure to stop back in the next few weeks to find out what other types of scrubs I’ll be making!
I’ve created some free tags for you to use. These are 2.5″ circle tags. You can either print these onto sticker sheets and attach to the lid or you can tie them on with baker’s twine.
Download the sugar scrub tags here. These tags are for personal use only.

Where did you get the little jars? I can only find Mason jars with the 2 piece lids :/ I’d really like to find lids that are just 1 piece. Thanks!

I got the jars in the dollar bin section of Target.
