This copycat frosted lemonade recipe is even better than the original.
Would you believe that I’ve never had a frosted lemonade until a few weeks ago? Never. As in I didn’t even know what ingredients went into a frosted lemonade. Was is a slushie style consistency? Or maybe a milkshake type of drink? These thoughts went through my head at the Chick-Fil-A drive through as my stomach was rumbling and the temperature was climbing.
There were 2 hungry kids AND a hangry mom in the car. Clearly our lunch had not kept us full and we needed an afternoon snack. So I stopped for my favorite snack of the moment… fries. I really should give them up but if I had, I would not have experienced the most delicious drink ever that day. I was only planning on getting fries. But then that big wonderful sign advertising Frosted Lemonade popped right up in front of me and all of a sudden my order went from fries to 3 frosted lemonades. And fries. I just can’t refuse a tasty lemonade.
I had just dropped over 15 bucks on that snack and I couldn’t get out of the drive thru line quick enough.
And I thought…there has GOT to be a better (and more affordable ) way to get this deliciousness. And there is. And I’m going to share the secret with you.
Two ingredients. Less than 5 minutes. And BAM… frosty goodness galore.

Gosh I love recipes that are this easy. You can also use fresh lemons and a bit of sugar but I just like to go the easiest route whenever possible and just use pre-made lemonade. My go-to lemonade is Simply Lemonade. These are definitely going to be on the menu regularly this summer.
