Welcome back to my 25 Days to an Organized Christmas Series. Did you enjoy your long Thanksgiving holiday? I’m still stuffed! Did you get any good deals shopping? There’s still time to enter my $50 VISA Giftcard giveaway if you need some extra shopping money.
Getting organized for Christmas includes getting your shopping done early. Or you can nix the shopping altogether and give homemade gifts. Today I am sharing a simple DIY gift that you can make… a DIY Christmas Napkin.
I made this using a cloth napkin, red heat transfer paper and my Silhouette machine. One thing that I really like about my Silhouette is that I can cut out any font that is loaded on my computer. I chose a font called “Contribute”. You can find the link to this font on My Favorite Free Christmas Fonts post. It is the font linked to the words “Away in a Manger”.
I sized the letters to fit into a 4″x9″ area. Be sure to flip your image before you cut it. Set your iron to the cotton setting and turn the steam off. Iron the letters onto the napkin per the instructions on the heat transfer paper.
These make a great addition to a holiday gift basket and are sure to make a statement on your holiday table. Keep track of all your holiday gift giving with my Free Printable Gift List and keep your budget in check with my Christmas Budget Free Printable.
