Hi, everyone! I am so excited to be here at Here Comes The Sun today and sharing a fun DIY Gift Idea with you for the Holidays! Let me introduce myself before I get started with the project. Today I wanted to share a simple little DIY Gift Idea that you can make for any family or friends who love taking baths. I love relaxing in a hot bath and try to get one in every single night after my kids are in bed, it’s my time to unwind from the day. I have a simple Peppermint Bath Salts project for you to make and give on their own or to put in a fun Spa Gift Basket.
How to Make Peppermint Bath Salts
Materials
- 20 drops peppermint essential oil
- 1/2 cup Epsom salt
- 1/2 cup sea salt
Step 1: In a glass or metal bowl, add Peppermint essential oil. Add the Epsom salt and sea salt and mix thoroughly. Step 2: Scoop into a 8 ounce container.
You can print out the FREE Tags for yourself too and add them to your jars! To use: Pour or scoop a fourth of the mixture under warn running water. Allow the tub to fill before sinking into the soothing waters. Enjoy! That’s it! They are so simple to make and smell heavenly in the hot tub! The peppermint even helps a little if you have a cold or are feeling yucky! I made some Shower Vapor Discs earlier this year when I had a nasty head cold that helped a lot and this peppermint bath salt was similar to that. Here are a few more Christmas Projects that we have been working on this year, I seem to be slightly addicted to Peppermint!
