Most schools in our area started back this week. It can be a scary and emotional time for parents and kids, especially for the little ones just starting out in kindergarten like my son. An entire day at school is often the first time a child has been away from mom or dad for an extended period of time. These lunch box notes are the perfect way to show your child that you are thinking about them even when you can’t be with them.

If you are sending these in a lunch box that includes an ice pack, you may want to print them out on photo paper so they do not smear. You can also place them in an outside pocket of the lunch box or tape them to the inside of a folder.
