July 4th is coming quick! Do you have your party plans in place? I love decorating for summer parties and I really love the red, white and blue color scheme. That’s why I’m so excited to be a part of ULTIMATE Red, White and Blue Roundup. 110 bloggers have teamed up to bring you everything Red, White and Blue!
For my Red, White and Blue project, I’m going to show you how to make an easy July 4th Party Garland.
You will need:
Red white and blue fabric
Scissors or a rotary cutter
Twine
First, cut your fabric into strips. The length of your strip will vary depending on how long you want your garland tassels to be. My strips were about 12″ long and 1-2″ wide
Next, tie your fabric around the twine and knot it, letting the fabric hang down.
Repeat this until you have the length that you want.
After you have tied all your fabric strips to the twine, cut the strips into a fringe look.
Hang up your festive party garland! This decoration can do double duty for Memorial Day as well as summer birthdays during the month of July. You can hang it between 2 trees or behind the cake table or even use it for a photobooth decoration. It’s so easy to make and store for future celebrations.
