Rainbow Cupcakes

I’ve seen these cupcakes all over the internet lately. They looked so cute that I had to try them myself. I must warn you, they do take a bit longer than regular cupcakes. I spent most of my son’s nap time making these with my daughter. I got the original idea here but modified it a bit after reading my friend Laura’s blog. I used her idea of putting the batter into plastic bags. It makes clean up so much easier. I also used regular vanilla frosting instead of whipped cream.
Happy Saint Patrick’s Day everyone! Hope you had the Luck o’ the Irish today. Now its time for me to go enjoy some cupcakes and basketball! Is there a better combination than that?
