Hi there friends! I’m Ariean from OneKriegerChick and I’m super excited to be here to share a fun and festive holiday decoration. Do you love quick crafts?…Me too! Tis the season to be thankful and I have SO much to be thankful for. I feel like Thanksgiving is often overlooked with the rush of prepping for Christmas. I hate that feeling, so I try to leave my fall decor out as long as possible. These reversible holiday blocks are perfect…for Fall decor…or flip them over and they turn into Christmas decor!
REVERSIBLE HOLIDAY BLOCKS
Decorate with them through Thanksgiving…They fit perfectly into my Fall Mantel…
Then flip them around and add them to your Christmas decor…
So, not only are they super quick to make…We’re talking under 15 minutes here! But they are super customizable and versatile too.
Let me show you just how quick they are to make…
You’ll need:
- Wood blocks
- Paint or Stain
- Vinyl words or stickers
Start with some wood blocks…I happened to have these in my scrap pile. Stain or paint them to your liking. These are stained with a whitewash. I also sanded the edges to soften them. Cut out the words you would like on the blocks. I chose “Thanks & Giving” for one side and “Merry & Bright” for the other and used my Cricut to cut them out of metallic vinyl. I kept them neutral so they would work with whatever accent colors I happened to be using.
Attach the vinyl to each side of the blocks.
Pop into your home decor…
That’s all! Easy Peasy, right!
