How to:
First, cut your burlap to fit around the jar. Next, wrap the burlap around the jar and secure in the back with hot glue. Cut your ribbon, wrap around the jar and tie it in a knot. Use the chalk pen or chalk to write a message on the mini chalkboard clip. I like using chalk pends because they are easier to write with and they don’t smear like chalk. They are semi-permanent and wipe off with water. Clip the chalkboard onto the ribbon and you have a beautiful vase.
Fill the vase with pretty flowers from your garden. Or for those of us who don’t have a green thumb, flowers from the store! I wish that I could keep flowers in my garden alive but somehow every year my garden never lives up to what I hope it will be. So I like to fill my house with flowers to make up for it.
You can use your vase as a centerpiece or just display it on a shelf or mantel. Mine is on my kitchen table. This project is easy enough that kids can help too!
Some of my blogger friends are sharing their Spring projects today too so sure to stop by their blogs for more fun tutorials!
