My Valentine decor is pretty much complete.  Yay!  Today I am sharing my mantel with you.  I’m so excited to finally have a mantel.  We lived without one for years and when we moved into our new place, I was beyond thrilled that we had a fireplace AND a mantel.  So here it is in all its lovey dovey glory.

My Valentine Hanging is front and center on the mirror.  Below it, I hung a paint chip banner.  How cute is this?

Totally free but totally not my idea. I got the idea from Kim at Twigs and Twirls and you can see her tutorial here. A visit to the home improvement store to get paint chips is ALWAYS fun for my kids!  But my daughter is always confused “why don’t we have to pay, mommy?”

I added a vase with DIY decorative orbs.  {Tutorial for these coming soon!} and some Valentine subway art.

Unfortunately, I do not remember who I got the subway art from.  If it’s yours or you know who made it, give me a shout so I can give proper credit.  Subway art is extremely easy to make yourself using picnik. You do know about picnik, right?  Alas, it is closing in April but from now until April they are offering all their premium options for FREE.  I plan to take advantage of this to make LOTS of printables for upcoming holidays!

Valentine Mantel complete!  Now I can sit back and relax until next month, right?

Linking to these parties.
