Use these watercolor brushes to create gorgeous designs in Illustrator
Watercolor brushes…be still my beating heart. You are going to absolutely LOVE.LOVE.LOVE these. If you like to design your own artwork, these are for you! Did I mention that you are going to love them?
I’ve always been a fan of watercolor and have created several watercolor clip art sets like this pink set, blue set and splotches set. But I have never used them to create brushes until now. I’m not sure why I waited so long to create these but here you go. I created these watercolor brushes using items from my pink and purple watercolor clip art set.
HOW TO INSTALL WATERCOLOR BRUSHES TO YOUR COMPUTER
Download the watercolor brushes file and save it to your computer. You can access the file in the resource library, below. Please note that these brushes are an Illustrator file work in Illustrator only. Open up Illustrator and go to your BRUSHES panel. Click the arrow in the upper right of the brushes panel to access the dropdown menu. Then click OPEN BRUSH LIBRARY>OTHER LIBRARY and navigate to where you saved them on your computer. Click OPEN. In the new dialogue box that opens, click on each brush to add it to your Illustrator brush library.
HOW TO USE WATERCOLOR BRUSHES
To access your watercolor brushes, simply open the BRUSHES panel in Illustrator and choose the brush that you would like to use. Use brushes to create things like headers for stationery, business cards or website graphics. All of the items shown below were created using this set of watercolor brushes.
