^^^PIN THIS SO YOU DON’T FORGET^^^
In case you haven’t figured it out yet, I love parties. I love going to them, planning them, hosting them, helping other people plan them. So when thinking of a theme for a summer party, I couldn’t resist throwing an ice cream party.
For this party, I decorated the table in fun colors that remind me of ice cream. The tablecloth is actually an old curtain from my daughters room. She doesn’t survey any more and I just knew that it would come in handy someday. I’m in love with the ruffles. They add the perfect touch.
I used colorful plastic plates with paper plates on top and a honeycomb banner that reminds me of scoops of ice cream. Milk bottles and paper straws complete the table.
The food for an ice cream party is pretty obvious. ICE CREAM! I chose to go with ice cream that was pre-packaged and Nestlé® Drumstick® S’mores were perfect.
I wanted something a bit different than the standard chocolate and vanilla. Did you know that Nestlé® Drumstick® S’mores come in three delicious flavors? Chocolate Marshmallow, Toasted Marshmallow and Toasted Marshmallow with Fudge. We are big s’more fans in this house so we just had to try them.
No scooping ice cream…no melting cartons of ice cream sitting in the sun. Just take these out of the freezer when it’s time to eat and have the kids each grab one. Each Nestlé® Drumstick® S’mores has a marshmallow flavored ice cream, and a rich graham cracker, chocolatey coating.
The kids chose the Chocolate Marshmallow and I was dying to try the Toasted Marshmallow with Fudge.
Let me just say that they are YUMMMMMY! So delish!
