Do you know what time it is? It’s FOOTBALL time! Preseason has begun and in just a few short weeks my Sundays will be full of couch-gaiting. That’s what we call it in our house. We can’t actually go to the games so we set up a tailgating spread at home and enjoy the food and the game from our couch. When you’re preparing a spread for gameday, you’re gonna want food that is easy to eat like finger food appetizers and dips. I’m a big fan of any type of dips and also a bigger fan of chocolate so I combined the two to make a delicious Snickers Cream Cheese Dip. This recipe is lick-the-bowl yummy! You can thank me later!
This snickers cream cheese dip is sure to please any crowd and very easy to make. It’s only 4 ingredients and so simple that kids can easily make this themselves. My 7-year-old daughter helped me make this batch.
THE BEST SNICKERS CREAM CHEESE DIP RECIPE

Snickers Dip
Ingredients
- 4 Snickers candy bars
- 4 oz. cream cheese
- 1 cup Cool Whip
- 1 TBS peanut butter
Instructions
-
Break the Snickers candy bars into bite size pieces
-
Add Snickers, cream cheese, Cool Whip and peanut butter to an electric mixer
-
Mix on medium speed for 30 seconds
-
Place into serving dish and enjoy!
The measurements in this recipe will make a small batch. Double (or even triple) it if you are feeding a crowd. It won’t go to waste, I assure you. The easiest way to feed a crowd without going broke (in my opinion) is to shop at a store such as Sam’s Club. You’ll find big boxes of Snickers Bars and smaller Mars Variety packs in the candy aisle.
I like to offer several different items for dipping, hence the mix of salty pretzels and sweet vanilla cookies.
A FEW MORE OF MY GAME DAY FAVORITES
This snickers dip will be a total crowd pleaser at your next game day bash, but here are a few more of my game day favorites!

So when you host your next football party, skip the traditional dips and chips and salsa and go for this sweet Snickers Cream Cheese Dip instead! Your guests will thank you.

Hi! Curious if you have tried substitute the snicker for another type of candy like Reese’s ? My mother is allergic to nuts so would love to try with other candy options.
Kelly says
I have not made this with anything but Snickers but I think Reese’s would be delicious too!

Can this be rolled into a ball if put in the freezer for a while? I want to make it into a snowman (make two balls) and coat it with coconut maybe. I saw a cute savory snowman that was mostly cream cheese but I wanted to do it as a dessert and serve it with either Nilla Wafers or graham crackers.
Kelly says
I think it would be fine in the freezer.

What if you don’t have a stand mixer?
Kelly says
A stand mixer is just optional. You can always mix it by hand or use egg beaters to mix it.
