Use these free Thanksgiving hand lettering practice sheets to get started in hand lettering or to brush up on your skills. Included is a PDF for printing and JPEG for iPad lettering.

The holiday season is here! To kick it off, I’ve created some free Thanksgiving hand lettering practice sheets. In addition to these Thanksgiving practice sheets, I have several different themed sets on the blog including a fall theme and a Christmas theme.

HOW TO USE THE THANKSGIVING HAND LETTERING PRACTICE SHEETS

Download the practice sheets pdf and print them out on your home computer. They are located in the resource library  The resource library is available to my email subscribers.  I recommend using the Tombow Dual Brush Pens or Tombow Fudenosuke pens with these practice sheets.

If you prefer to work digitally, download and open the JPEG files on an iPad Pro and open them in the Procreate app.  Since the PDF and JPEG files are zipped together, you’ll need an unzipping app. Once opened in Procreate, use a calligraphy brush to trace over the letters with an Apple Pencil.  Check out this post for how to use hand lettering practice sheets in Procreate.

In addition to the practice sheets with words, the download also includes a blank sheet so you can practice whatever letters or phrase you like!  Use your hand lettering skills to create fun holiday projects like these place cards, ornaments or  chalkboard art.

As always, these sheets are for personal use only.  You may not sell or redistribute them.

  1. I’ve always want to learn calligraphy in all it’s forms, our as much as I can learn in my life time, I’ve put it off for years and decided not to wait and long, so I’ve also decided to subscribe to a few websites and your website came up. I will make use of the free practice sheet. I look forward in learning as much as I can from your website.

Also I really like the colour and layout of your website page
Thank you for the practice sheet.
